Portraits

Finishes

Portraits are created with differing finishes on the surface of the photograph. The surface differences are for the aesthetic purposes as well as protection. The ultraviolet rays are restricted by the coatings placed on the surface of the photographs. These coatings also protect from finger smudges, (oils), and environmental moisture. The heavy texturing can make the portraits resemble oil paintings. Samples are on display at our studio.

Historical Notes

Like a fine piece of art, the preservation of your portrait is important. Our finishing methods help prevent cracks, tears, and creases. Portraits 8 x 10 and larger have professional mounts and historical notes.

Portrait Combinations — Buy 3 Get 1 Free

A unit is a portrait combination made from one pose. Fourth unit must be from a pose previously selected.

Selecting Your Portrait

The poses photographed are viewed on a television screen approximately 20 minutes after the photographic session. Portrait selections can be made at that time or original prints can be created. To create the original prints there is a $5 per print charge that will apply to the purchase of the originals. They may be purchased as individual prints at $10 each or in products. Other products available are:

For the client that is undecided on the poses for purchase there is a $5 deposit per print that will apply toward the purchase of the originals. This deposit must be applied within 60 days; thereafter it will be considered a fee.

Payments and Fees

Sitting fees are due at the time of the booking or at the time of the sitting. A deposit is due or the purchase price is paid when the originals (paper prints) are requested by the customer. Electronically produced preview selection cards do not require a deposit. A BONUS GIFT is given to persons who place orders within one week of the sitting. It is requested that orders shall be paid in full at the time of the order. All orders not paid in full require a 50% deposit. Shipping and handling charges are due on all orders which require shipping. Credit cards and debit cards are accepted.

• Up to 50 miles is $25
• Over 50 miles will be estimated.

Warranty

In any type of damage occurs to your portraits, we will replace the portraits at half price of the current listed rates.

Our portraits are produced and sold subject to the retention of copyrights by the studio. It is illegal to copy or reproduce them in any form without written consent. The use of negative material is an exclusive right of Image Photography and Framing for the purposes of display, publicity or otherwise.
